The happiest of small surprises was waiting for me at home today when I returned from my first day at the new job (aka “how I fund my addiction”); my shiny new Death the Kid figure!

I admit it, one of my goals in life is to make sure that everyone I know is in some way party to my madness. With some people it’s easier than others; they already had one foot in the door of geekery. These are the people I get in the door with Death Note and move along until they’re slowly watching the Haruhi dance on repeat, eyes glazed and wondering why Kyon doesn’t just get into it, already. I mean, he’s done this dance a million times by now.
